Excellent historical materials regarding Camp Pike/Camp Robinson. Wiley Cammack donated much of his land in Pulaski County to the military for construction of needed officer housing during World War II. After the war, this area was named Cammack Village and remains to this day a separate incorporated City.
 
With all due respect to Dr. Cherisse Jones-Branch, Arkansas State University, I enjoyed reading her article regarding the unfortunate shooting in Little Rock but wish to point out that no murder took place, as there was no conviction, hence her title is confusing and perhaps misleading.
